Amanda Sherley, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She received an Associate Degree in Nursing from Cisco College, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Grand Canyon University, and a Master of Science in Nursing degree from The University of Texas at Arlington. She has been working in the medical field since she was 15 years old and has 20 years of patient care experience. She has worked in nursing homes, home health, labor and delivery, and in intensive care. She also has experience as a certified sexual assault nurse examiner. She has delivered and welcomed new babies into this world and has held the hands of dying men and woman as they left. With all her nursing experience she comes to IPA with the philosophy that the length of your life does not matter if you are unable to live your life due to pain. What matters to her is your quality of life and her goal is to help her patients get back to living.
She was born and raised in Abilene, TX. She has two beautiful boys and absolutely loves being their mom. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and seeking out new adventures to experience and places to explore. She also enjoys the arts, baking, and getting her heart rate up at the gym.
