Stephen McClintock is a Nurse Practitioner at Integrated Pain Associates in Abilene. He comes from a family of physicians and always knew he wanted to pursue a career in healthcare. Stephen attended Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing. As a Registered Nurse, he worked in the ER and at Patty Hanks Shelton School of Nursing program, where he graduated. While he was working at Patty Hanks, he enrolled to get his Masters of Nursing Education, which he earned in 2016 and then went on to get his Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate in 2017. Stephen is a professional member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing.
Stephen’s goal for each patient that he sees is that they leave with something, whether it be a calming touch, a new treatment plan, or more knowledge about their condition. He believes each patient should feel heard and cared for and he does that through truth, trust, and respect.
