Toni McNaughton, RN, BSN, MSN, APRN, FNP-C is a native of Carrollton, Texas. Before pursuing her calling in nursing she served 4 years in the United States Air Force and a proud recipient of Airman of the Year. She began her nursing training soon after discharge from the USAF and in 1985 received an Associate Degree in Nursing from the McLennan Community College in Waco, Texas. Ms. McNaughton comes to us with an extensive amount of experience in many areas of the medical field. For over eight years, she used her expertise in IV infusion therapy to provide care for adult and pediatric oncology patients. Inspired by the birth of her daughter, Ms. McNaughton pursued her love and experience of pediatrics, expanding her training in Labor and Delivery and became the educator for the Women’s and Children’s Center at Providence Hospital in Waco, Tx. In 2011, she earned Summa Cum Laude Bachelors of Nursing from Texas Tech University. While working in clinical research and teaching at the McLennan Community College, she received her Masters degree in Nursing from Texas A&M and Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification. She is a member of the Texas Nurses Association, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and American Society for Pain Management Nursing.
As a Family Nurse Practitioner, she has spent most of that time in Pain Management and Urgent Care settings in Waco and DFW and has now made Killeen her new home.
Life Outside the Office
Away from work she enjoys spending time with her family, friends and church family. She spends much of her time outdoors pursuing her love of gardening and nature. She also loves cooking with friends and sharing her love for nutrition, healthy eating and exercise.
