We all are caught in a changing medical environment. It seems daily we have some type of shift surrounding coverage of services, medication coverage and financial responsibility. Integrated Pain Associates (IPA) is wholly committed to delivering care to our patients no matter the headwinds. We will make every effort to work on your behalf in order to assure that you receive the very best out of the medical system. Each insurance company has varying coverage as it applies to medicines, tests, procedures and the financial responsibilities of the patient. IPA never wants finances to be a barrier to the delivery of your care. We are devoted to being our patient’s partner in their pain care, as well as an advocate for the needs of our patients as they migrate through the changing climate of health care. We can only affect the things that come under our control. Please be aware that the insurance companies set the rates and we have nothing to do with setting those values. We are bound contractually to collect the portions of the insurance costs that the insurance companies deem the responsibility of the patient. We must adhere to their guidelines. However, we can and will, work with our patients on how we collect those fees. We have taken great measures in order to open up alternative avenues to you and us as your partner in health care. We would like know if you are experiencing difficulties in accessing care due to finances. We have relationships with hospitals, other clinics and we certainly have the ability to work with our patients here at IPA. We are committed to championing our patients access to the best quality and affordable care. We are unable to control all costs, but within the sphere of our influence we will guide, adjust and work with our patients as best we can within the contractual constraints we all face. Please let us know if you are having financial difficulty with obtaining an MRI, X-Ray or getting a procedure scheduled.
